R7S Legends Database 26
A curated Football Manager 2026 universe of legendary players, managers and historic club identities.
WHY THIS DATABASE GOES DEEPER
R7S Legends Database is built as a complete long-term Football Manager world, not just a list of famous names with higher ratings. The current v3.5.168 development master contains 7,202 people across 664 clubs and 672,642 top-level database changes, with 22,874 structured operations preserved through final structural validation. The downloadable release shown above remains separately versioned until a fresh-career runtime gate is passed.
The work includes historical playing-history and home-grown reconstruction, full attribute and 14-position profiles, preferred foot, personality and traits, contracts, club finances, youth development and youth-intake environments, duplicate and donor-contamination audits, clone detection, staff/player conflicts and repeated structural and runtime QA.
A new historical age-normalisation process is also being implemented. Original birth year sets the recreated starting age: 1959 or earlier → 28; 1960s → 27; 1970s → 26; 1980s → 24; 1990s → 22; 2000–04 → 20; 2005+ keeps the naturally younger age where appropriate. We preserve the historical birth day/month and never age naturally younger modern players upward.
PA remains the historical ceiling while CA is reviewed against development stage rather than forced by a formula: age 28 ≈ 96–100% of PA, 27 ≈ 94–100%, 26 ≈ 90–98%, 24 ≈ 84–95%, 22 ≈ 75–90%, and 20 ≈ 65–85%, with early/late-bloomer exceptions. Playing history and unrelated identity data are preserved rather than erased.
Many thousands of hours have gone into research, editing, auditing and testing. Downloads remain free; optional support helps make that depth sustainable.
